Hi, I’m Carl. I’ve worked as a self-employed carpenter for Kilkenny and Gomm for 20 years. Starting as an apprentice, I advanced to site foreman, safety supervisor, and first aider through experience and training, all funded by the company. I handled all aspects of carpentry to a high standard across various sites.
I’ve had a great relationship with both co-workers and management, who are easy-going yet detail-oriented. I’ve always felt supported and valued, which was reinforced by a recent offer to become a site manager on a new development. Kilkenny and Gomm funded all necessary training, including SMSTS, Scaffold Inspection, and a Telehandler course.
I’m grateful for the consistent work over the years and excited for the next chapter.
